Spain is the most popular international move of all, and there are two good ways to run it from the UK. The overland route crosses France and enters Spain at La Jonquera for the Mediterranean side or Irún for the Atlantic and the centre. The sea route takes the Portsmouth-to-Bilbao or Santander ferry, swapping a long French drive for a short Spanish one — often the better choice for the Costa del Sol and the south. Either way, it starts with a collection from your UK address, wherever you are.
